Madness, The Go-Go’s, Death Cult, and ‘Til Tuesday will also play the one-day Pasadena festival next May

Cruel World, the ’80s-themed new wave and alt-rock festival has revealed its 2025 lineup led by New Order and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds as headliners.
Taking place Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, the one-day festival also promises performances from DEVO, Garbage, Madness, The Go-Go’s, OMD, She Wants Revenge, Buzzcocks, Stereo MC’s, Chelsea Wolfe, Nation of Language, and Alison Moyet. Plus, The Cult’s Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy will revive their original moniker Death Cult as they play a set of early material, and ‘Til Tuesday’s original members are reuniting for their first performance together in 35 years.
Tickets to Cruel World 2025, including GA, GA+, and VIP passes, will go on sale beginning Friday, October 25th at 11:00 a.m. PT via the festival’s website. GA passes start at $249, while GA+ passes are priced at $349 and VIP passes can be purchased for $459.
The Cruel World appearance will mark the final date on Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ upcoming North American headlining tour.
