The Voice Of The Fans Is Heard In Latest Collaboration By Bad Bunny, Leo Messi, and adidas Originals

Lionel Messi and Bad Bunny are among the most significant people of the 21st century, amassing the utmost in achievements while raising standards of excellence and performance in their respective fields. But the impact of their contributions go beyond golden goals and sold-out tours; their global influence has allowed them to put their home countries on the map, spreading a sense national pride among their people as they witness one of their own wearing their flags on their back.

In this latest spot by adidas Originals, the brand brings in the La Voz De Los Fans as the key backdrop to this featurette with the two greats. A fan letter is narrated throughout the video as Bad Bunny and Messi read an endless bounty of heartfelt fan letters addressed to them both; it’s hard not to see the emotion on their faces as the people of Puerto Rico and Argentina express their love and support.

“This campaign celebrates our fans. Seeing people who follow me and support me does more than just inspire me, it makes me feel very grateful. I always try to give everything I have on the pitch, so it’s great to see that there are people who appreciate that effort and always support me, even in bad times,” said Lionel Messi. Bad Bunny adds “Messi’s last name has become its own word, a synonym for greatness, courage and heart.”

In celebration of the voice of the fans, adidas Originals is launching a landmark collaboration that truly celebrates Lionel Messi and Bad Bunny. In this upcoming collection is the adidas Gazelle Indoor and the F50; both feature colors and details inspired by archive pieces from the adidas catalog, while both the actual signatures of Leo and Bunny appear on the upper stripes of the shoes.

Both pairs are available for sign-up right now on the adidas Confirmed App; a global launch is confirmed for October 26th, 2024.
